Pre/Post-Surgical Rehab

Pre-surgical Rehab and Post-Surgical Rehab:

Research has shown that rehabilitation or exercises performed before surgery can help with fast track recovery post surgery. It is the “Better in, Better out”approach since undergoing major orthopedic surgeries for example, ACL reconstruction or Total knee replacement can cause significant decrease in strength. Strengthening specific muscle groups before surgery can help regain the strength back faster in post-operative phase.

Post-surgical rehab should be started as soon as possible, to reduce restrictions with joint range of motion, scar tissue formation, improve strength and endurance.
